Everyone can make a mistake! And if there is one type of product where choosing the right option can be particularly precise, it is makeup… Therefore, if you have ordered the wrong makeup shade, the wrong eyeshadow palette or the wrong foundation reference, Make-up Atelier Paris allows you to exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date you receive your order.

For products that are eligible for return, they must be handled with care and returned in a condition that allows us to inspect them.

For reasons of hygiene and health protection, certain cosmetic or makeup products that have been unsealed after delivery cannot be returned where the seal, protective film or other protective device ensuring their integrity and hygiene has been removed or altered.

This restriction does not, of course, apply where a product is defective, damaged or does not conform to your order.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR PRODUCTS

You may exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason, within 14 days from the date you receive your order.

You may also use the online withdrawal functionality made available on our website.

Once you have informed us of your decision to withdraw, you have a maximum of 14 days to send back the products concerned.

The cost of shipping the return parcel is borne by the customer.

You are free to choose the carrier of your choice. However, we recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of shipment until your return has been fully processed.

Products must be carefully packed and protected to prevent damage during transport.

To help us process your return, please include the information needed to identify your order, including your order number, name and contact details.

Once the parcel has been received, our teams will carry out an inspection of the returned products before processing your request.

CREDIT NOTE OR REFUND

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your request.

For an accepted return, Make-up Atelier Paris may issue a refund for the products concerned. Depending on your request and where this option is offered, a credit note may also be issued for use on a future order placed on our website.

Where a consumer exercises their statutory right of withdrawal, the refund will also include the initial delivery charges corresponding to the standard delivery method offered when the order was placed.

If you chose a delivery method that was more expensive than our standard delivery option, the additional cost associated with that choice will not be refunded.

The costs incurred when sending your return parcel remain your responsibility and will not be refunded.

The refund may be withheld until we have received the returned products or until you provide us with proof that they have been dispatched.

DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCT

The rule stating that return shipping costs are borne by the customer applies only to returns made because of a change of mind or the exercise of the right of withdrawal.

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, does not conform to your order or was sent to you in error, please contact us before returning it.

Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide you with the applicable return instructions.

Where a defect, non-conformity or error attributable to Make-up Atelier Paris is confirmed, the necessary return costs will not be borne by you.

In this case, please do not send the product back on your own initiative before receiving our instructions.
